Parking: Available at the New Castle County Courthouse
parking facility which is located next to the courthouse. The parking
facility may be entered on either Walnut Street (on the left-hand
side after crossing 4th Street) or King Street (left turn after
passing Wilmington College).
Handicapped parking is available in the parking garage. The Courthouse
has ramp entrances and automatic doors.
Juror Parking: At the entrance of the New Castle County
Courthouse parking facility, take the ticket and park. There are
no special parking spaces reserved for jurors. Please bring your
ticket to Jury Services to be validated when you report to Jury
Services on the 1st Floor, Suite 1800. Please bring your summons
with you when you report to Jury Services.
Please Note:
There are restrictions for free juror parking at the New Castle
County Courthouse parking facility. The restrictions are as follows:
» The New Castle County Courthouse parking facility has allotted
167 free juror parking spaces per day combined with an arrival deadline
of 9:15 A.M. Any juror who parks in the facility after the 167 allotted
free spaces are filled and/or after the 9:15 A.M. deadline, must
pay for their parking.
» There will be no reimbursement for parking fees.
» We will not validate for individuals who do not complete
their service.
» DO NOT PARK in the First USA
parking facility between second and third streets. We will not validate
any other parking facility other than the New Castle County Courthouse
parking facility.
